Terms and Conditions
Deposits: All bookings require a deposit of £50 or full advanced payment. All advanced purchase bookings are non-refundable & non-transferable. All deposits are transferable with more than 14 days’ notice.
Cancellation: All bookings cancelled within 14 days prior to the arrival date will incur a 100% charge of the first night. If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of arrival, total price of your reservation will be charged.
Group Bookings: Group bookings for 3 rooms or more require a minimum of 28 days’ notice to transfer the deposit to an alternative date or cancel the reservation without further charges (as above).
Dinner Credit: All bed and breakfast rates and advanced purchase bookings (receiving a 10% discount), made through our own website, will receive £10 towards an evening meal. This is per room for the total duration of the stay and can be redeemed against an evening meal only, not against drinks. Any bookings made through the Late Availability page, or with a discount higher than 10% do not receive £10 towards an evening meal.
Late Availability: All bookings received through the Late Availability page require payment upon booking, and are non-transferrable and non-refundable. The discounted rate found on this page cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.
Smoking: The Lyth Valley Country Inn is strictly non-smoking. If any guest is found to have been smoking indoors there will be a charge of £200 to cover any cleaning costs.
Pets: Pets are not allowed in any of our bedrooms. Although dogs are allowed in our bar area, balcony & outside seating area.
Allergens: All our beds are made up with feather duvets & pillows, unless requested otherwise on booking. It is also preferable to let us know of any dietary requirements or food allergies prior to arrival.
Damages & Breakages: All breakages, damages or soilage must be reported to reception and charged for accordingly.
Toiletries: Please enjoy the use of our Cowshed products throughout your stay, but do not remove the bottles from the rooms or take them with you. If any bottles are found to be missing from your room on departure you will be charged £18.00 per missing bottle. We have new products available to purchase from reception.
Keys: Please remember to return your key to us on check out, failure to do so will result in a charge of £25.
