There’s nothing corporate and uniform about our eight rooms. Each one delivers something fresh, uniquely furnished and decorated.
Whichever one you choose you’ll be immersed in contemporary luxury with vintage twists. From Calvin Klein rugs to Laura Ashley wallpaper, from the local Bath House toiletries to state of the art satellite televisions, and…. well, everything you would expect for a deeply relaxing, refreshing and luxurious break in the Lake District.
Six of our rooms enjoy the most panoramic views across the wide expanse of the famous patchwork fields of the Lyth Valley, out towards Scout Scar.
Named after woodland animals, each Lyth Valley bedroom means you’ve found the perfect place to just hibernate or to use as a base to go out exploring.
Our Junior Suites are also dog friendly.

DELUXE
The Nutty Squirrel and the Hooting Owl are our Deluxe rooms. Both lovely en-suite rooms have super king beds or can be made up as twin beds on request.
SUPER KING
Our three Superior King rooms, the Hopping Hare, Quacking Duck and the Stag’s Head, enjoy panoramic views across the Lyth Valley. All three rooms have King size beds and spacious Victorian styled bathrooms with showers or bath.
JUNIOR SUITE
The Herdwick, Pheasant’s Roost and Foxes Den will add a bit of extra tranquillity to your stay. Situated downstairs, you have the same delightful panoramic views as the superior king rooms, but with the added benefit of outside seating to further admire the scenery. All suites have both a shower and separate bath. Dog friendly rooms. *Additional charge of £25 per dog per stay.
