At Summit Lyth Valley Limited we treat customers’ personal information and details extremely seriously and will not share your information with any third party unless you give us explicit permission to do so. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) with the primary purpose of making your shopping experience as enjoyable and easy as possible.
When you stay with us we collect your name, address, payment details, e-mail and telephone number. We need this information to process your order and let you know if there are any problems. When your personal data is shared with these third parties, we require that these third parties treat your data as confidential and to fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation. We will not release your information outside of Summit Lyth Valley Limited for the purposes of mailing or marketing.
The data we collect about you will be accurate and up to date wherever possible. Should you become aware that any information held by us is inaccurate please contact us any time either by telephone, post or e-mail ([email protected]) and we will correct it.
We want to make sure we get in touch with you in the best way possible. If you don’t wish to receive communication via post, telephone or e-mail from Summit Lyth Valley Limited, please let us know and we will opt you out of any of these services.
All your data is stored on our Host Server and is password protected to make sure no unauthorised access is possible. When placing an order, sensitive data including credit card details are transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Deposits/General Terms
1a. Best flexible rate:
At the time of confirmation a £50 deposit per room is required, unless the total amount is lower, in which case the full amount will be charged. Bookings made within 48 hours of arrival require full pre-payment at the time of the booking.
1b. Special Offers:
Full pre-payment is taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non- transferable.
Offer price is as stated and is not available in conjunction with any other offer or discount and is strictly subject to limited availability.
Bank holiday dates are excluded from all offers.
2. Amendments / Cancellation
2a. Best flexible rate:
Change of Date
There is no charge if you wish to amend your booking, provided that a minimum of 12 days notice is given prior to the arrival date. The deposit paid can be held until a new date is booked as long as the new date is no later than 6 months after the original date. Booking on the best flexible rate means that rates change therefore your new date may be selling at a different price and charges may apply.
Cancellation
Provided a minimum of 12 days notice is given prior to the arrival date, the deposit paid can be refunded if no alternative booking date is required. Advanced payments can not be refunded.
2b. Special Offers:
Reservations made on a special offer rate are non-refundable and non-transferable.
For any unforeseen circumstances you are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance.
3. VAT
VAT is included at the current prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
4. Final Payment
The balance of the cost of your booking to be settled on arrival, any extras to be paid for on departure. Credit facilities are not available unless prior arrangement has been made with the hotel.
5. Single Occupancy
All rooms are Double / Twin. Rates shown are based on 2 people sharing.
6. Children
Children aged 15 and under sharing a room with 2 full paying adults are charged a nightly supplement. Children are offered the Children’s menu when booked on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis. A further charge will apply if the child orders from the main restaurant menu. Children occupying their own rooms are charged at the full adult rate.
7. Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome in certain areas of the property. Dogs must not be left unattended. The hotel charges £25.00 per stay per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs in a room.
We only accept dogs in Junior Suites at The Lyth Valley Restaurant with Rooms.
8. Arrival & Departure Times
Bedrooms are usually available for occupation from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check in is available until 9pm, if a late check in is needed please inform us. A late check in charge of £20 will apply. We request that they are vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout charge: £20.00 per hour, this agreement is subject to availability and must be pre-arranged with reception.
9. Special Requirements
Please advise of any specific dietary needs, mobility issues, or other specific requirements you may have prior to arrival.
10. Special Requests
Whilst every effort is made to fulfil your requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee to do so and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract.
11. About your Privacy
We respect and value your privacy. We will never pass your contact details to third parties for the purposes of sending you additional offers and services. We will only pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties overseas contracted by ourselves to perform services requested by you.

12. Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
